Magnificent Millet
People often ask how to cook millet. Millet
is alkalizing & perhaps the healthiest
grain. Very tasty depending upon what you
do with it.
Makes approx. 6 servings.
2 cups organic millet
4 cups water
1 med. red onion
3 med. carrots
1 med. yellow squash
1 med. green squash
¼ cup olive oil or coconut oil
apple cider vinegar (to taste)
cayenne pepper (to taste)
Dr. Faiman’s Himalayan salt
(to taste)*
Put 2 cups of millet & 4 cups of water in
a covered pot. Boil, turn to lowest heat &
simmer for 20 minutes (depending upon
your burner and your pot). Do not stir or

shake. If you need to check if there’s more
water in the bottom of the pot, tip the pot
a bit on the side and see if there’s water. If
so, leave pot on heat a while longer. If little
or no water, take the pot off the burner.
The millet should be fluffy.
Prepare diced vegetables: 1 med. red
onion, 3 med. carrots, 1 med. yellow &
green squash. Lightly sauté in olive or
coconut oil or steam the vegetables. Serve
with the millet. Season with Dr. Faiman’s
Himalayan salt,* cayenne pepper and
coconut oil (or olive oil & vinegar).

Blend Together:
1 c. vanilla rice dream milk
1 T. Dr. Faiman's Nature's Greens
(Hot Mix)
1 tsp. almond butter
1T. whey protein
½ frozen banana
½ c. frozen strawberries
1T. xylitol
Pinch of Dr. Faiman's Himalyan
